Words

In the book of Proverbs, many words give direction and encouragement in how to live our lives to keep us from destruction and failures.  King Solomon, the writer of Proverbs, grew up in the household of King David, who was described as a man after God’s heart.  Solomon’s wisdom has proved to be true throughout the ages.  When we read and heed his words, our lives are enriched.  While Solomon’s words are beneficial, sometimes our words do not bring the intended outcome. Although,we all love to give our opinions, many times people are not ready to hear truths from God’s word.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Solomon wrote, “A man takes joy in giving an answer; and a timely word—how good that is!” Proverbs 15:23 (HCSB)
