Why (Part 2)

One of the most often asked questions by little children is “Why.” Yesterday our scripture reminded us that Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.  Today we find the answer to “Why did Jesus die?  The good news is there are answers to this question found in God’s word. Let’s see what Paul said about why Jesus died.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10 (KJV)

Today, realize how important you are to Jesus, who came to seek and save you and me; because we were lost from our relationship to Him. But Jesus restored our relationship to God by His death on the cross.
