Where Are You?
Do you ever wonder if you are where you are supposed to be and doing what you are supposed to do? All too often when things are getting stressful, we wonder if God is paying attention. Never fear, if you belong to Him, then He holds you in the palm of His hand and will never let you go. It is His pleasure to shower us with grace, love, mercy and all good things. He is paying attention to you all the time. So don’t worry – God’s got your life in His hands and you are where He wants you to be. If you haven’t called upon Jesus to be your Lord and Savior – Now is the time.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing..” Ephesians 2:8-9 (MSG)
Today, thank God for His saving grace, love and mercy.
