Walking Securely
Sometimes the terrain on which we are walking is rough. It can be rocky and our steps may slip; however, in our spiritual life, God has given us hinds’ feet. The hind is a female red deer who lives in the mountains. When she steps, her rear feet step in the exact same spot where her front feet have just stepped. This keeps her on track and helps her during times of trouble. The Lord God has given us hinds’ feet so we can stay on track even during times of trouble.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Habakkuk records, “The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.” Habakkuk 3;19 (KJV)
Today, give God praise for His help in walking securely during times of trouble.
