Walking

Your in the boat with your friends.  The sea is raging and the wind is horrific.  You see someone walking on the sea.  What do you think?  Most likely you would think, like the disciples, it is a ghost.  It is Jesus!  In the storms of our lives, He is there.  Whatever storm or decision you are facing, be confident Jesus is already there ahead of you and is saying to you – “Come step out into your circumstances and walk with me.”

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew records, “And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.  But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.  And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.  And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:26-29 (KJV)

Today, no matter your circumstances, Jesus is already there.  Walk with Him and don’t be afraid.
