Wake Up

When we wake up each morning, one of the things we do is to put on our work clothes.  God says it is time for us to wake up from our slumber, the time of our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.  We are to set aside the deeds of darkness and put on His armor of light – to be ready.  But first we have to understand the time in which we live and then we have to WAKE UP.  Part of waking up is opening our eyes to what is going on in the world around us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”  Romans 13:11-12 (NIV)
