Wait
It was the day after Jesus` crucifixion. Do you think the disciples were waiting for Him to rise? No, they waited in fear of being captured by the Jewish Religious Leaders and/or the Roman soldiers. They waited in fear! It was a dark time for them. As we wait for this virus to end and be able to return to work and school, let us not consider this to be a dark time, let’s look up and trust Jesus for each moment. The Psalmist wrote, “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” Psalm 27:14 The disciples did not know the resurrection was coming. But we can be of good courage because the resurrection has already come.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Isaiah records, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Today, wait on the Lord to strengthen you.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves you and I Do Too.
Jesus is coming – are you ready?
