Wait
Wait
The lyrics from one of the most beautiful songs of this time is “You Raise Me Up,” as sung by the Josh Groban. One of the stanza’s states, “When I am down, and, oh, my soul, so weary – When troubles come, and my heart burdened be – Then, I am still and wait here in the silence – Until you come and sit awhile with me.” What captured my attention was “I am still and wait here in the silence.” Waiting is never easy in our instant world; but, the benefits are inexpressible.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.” Psalm 62:1 And “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 (KJV)
Today, Wait on God in the Silence and He will raise you up.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing
