Victory

Once I had a dream about death – it was an allegory in which death for the Christian was the like a baby being born into the world.  The baby leaves the warm comfortable environment of the only life it has known and enters into a new world with a new life.  As a Christian, when we breathe our last breath hear on earth, we breathe our next breath in heaven.  Through Christ, we have been given victory over death.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (KJV)
