Victory

Victory is “success in defeating an opponent or enemy.”  We attend sports games,
yelling and shouting during the game and when our teams win the victory over an
opponent.  When was the last time you were excited about your victory over sin
and death.  As Christians, we have a great victory over sin and death through Jesus.
Folks that is shouting news.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “O death, where is your victory? O death,
where is your sting? Now sin is the sting of death, and sin exercises its power [upon
the soul] through [the abuse of] the Law. But thanks be to God, Who gives us the
victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (AMPC)

Today, praise God for the victory you have in Jesus.
