Urgent
When we receive a prayer request through our emails, it is urgent and something we don’t take lightly. It is an opportunity to go to the Lord and make our requests known to Him – to intercede for a Church family member or another person in need of prayer. Paul urged Timothy to pray and give thanks for all people including those in authority. Paul knew that in doing so we would live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NIV)
Today, pray for all people especially for the authorities over us. We have an urgent need to live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
