The Mystery

Have you ever read a good mystery book or watched a good mystery movie?  Typically they always leave the answer to the mystery to the end of the story.  The authors/writers may leave clues throughout the book or movie, which you may or may not understand.  That is not true with the mystery of the end of the age.  Jesus, Prophets of old and the writers of the New Testament have given us clear signs of the end.  We don’t know the day or the hour; however, we can know the signs.  

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Paul wrote, “He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, with regard to the fulfillment of the times [that is, the end of history, the climax of the ages]—to bring all things together in Christ, [both] things in the heavens and things on the earth.” Ephesians 1:9-10 (AMP)

Today, thank God for his clear instructions of the mystery of Christ’s return and what the end of the age has in store for all who are left on the earth at that time.
