The Law

While we are a nation of laws, who hasn’t broken a law i.e. speeding, running a red light or taking a pen or pencil from work just to name a few that we just slough off.  Not only do we have laws in our land, but we also have God’s laws by which to live.  So, how do we live and fulfill God’s laws? The good news is Paul addressed this very issue in the book of Romans. 

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Paul recorded, “For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.” Romans 13:9-10 (KJV)

Today, love your neighbor as you love yourself; thereby fulfilling God’s law
