The Gospel

The Gospel is simple in that it is the life of Jesus in a nut shell – He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins and rose from the dead.  When we ask Christ to be our Lord and Savior, we can have eternal life because of Him.  Throughout his life, Christ valued human life as God created.  Within our nation, attempts have been made to water down the gospel.  Churches accept liberal ideology, abortion and homosexuality.  We are to love others but always call sin what it is.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”  Galatians 1:6-8 (KJV)
