Strong (Part 3)
Have you ever watched a baby take it’s first steps. They are so wobbly and unsure of themselves. The correlation for us as Christians is that when we are new to the faith, we are unsure of ourselves; but when we grow in the faith, we are to be strong and to stand firm in that faith. Paul told the Ephesians they were to stand in truth, live in righteousness and be prepared to walk in the gospel of peace.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit Paul wrote, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;” Ephesians 6:10 – 14(KJV)
Today, get into the word of God, stand strong and prepare to walk with the Lord through this life.
