Strong (Part 1)
Strong
Just as our doberman was made stronger through our efforts to slow him down, we are made stronger through the trials of life. There are some trials we experience as a result of the enemy of our souls attacking us and attempting to prevent the Lord’s work in our life. Paul in his writings to the church in Ephesus had some instructions on how we can become strong. He tells us to put on the armour of God and why we should do so. Just as David could not wear Saul’s armour when going out against Goliath neither can we wear another’s armour when we fight against the enemy of our souls. We must have our own armour provided to us by the Lord.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit Paul wrote, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10 (KJV)
Today, get into the word of God and put on His armour and prepare for the battles to come.
