Storms and Strength

We have experienced some pretty devastating storms and events in the recent past.  How do we have the strength to go on through the storms of life – hurricanes, cancer, divorce or the evil in our world?   Storms happen in each of our lives and no person knows what lies ahead.  So, how do we have the strength to handle these storms of life?  Some people rely on “inner strength. or strength of character.”  But, for those of us who trust in the Lord when the storms come, we can experience the Lord’s everlasting strength.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Isaiah wrote, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.  Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:” Isaiah 26:3,4 (KJV)
