Responsibility

The Israelites were the chosen people of God.  They witnessed God`s sovereign protection and deliverance on many occasions and yet they were not consistently faithful to reverence and worship God. We are no different.  We have witnessed Gods unfailing love, mercy and grace from the founding of our nation until the present time. Yet, we have not been consistently faithful to reverence and worship God.  We have taken prayer out of schools, killed millions of babies and lived as though there is no God.  We are now faced with our own mortality and a pandemic that is killing thousands around the world.  The word of God gives us a solution to our current problem.  If you call yourself a child of God, will you seek Him; not just for this situation; but for the rest of your life.  Will you Honor Him, Reverence Him and Worship Him and allow Him to be the LORD of your life?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Chronicles records, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

Today, join me in coming before God in humility, prayer and seeking him, and turning from our wicked ways.  His word promises he will hear us, forgive us and heal our land.
