Removal
If we put our trash out each Monday, the trash company comes and removes our
trash. More trash builds each week and we have to do it all over again. Sin is like
trash in our lives. Are you ever haunted by past sins? The enemy of our souls enjoys
bringing them up to us and tries to make us believe they are so bad we could never
be forgiven. That is a lie straight from the pit of Hell. Just like the weekly trash removal
must b taken to the curb to be removed, we must confess our sins to have them
removed. Once you have confessed your sins, God removes them from you.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “He has not dealt with us after our sins
nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the
earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and
worshipfully fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our
transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:10-12 (AMPC)
Today, ask God’s sweet Holy Spirit to help you confess your sins and receive the peace
of Jesus.
