Receiving and Believing
If someone were to give you a million dollars, would you receive it? After you received it, then you would have to believe it was really yours. Everyone has an opportunity to receive Christ; but it is in believing in His name that we each have eternal life and all He has promised.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Hebrews records, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13 (NKJV)
