Provider

When the Lord asked Abraham to sacrifice his son, Abraham was obedient to the point
of placing his son on the altar.  But the Lord provided a sacrifice and Isaac was spared.
Recently, the new chemotherapy drug was approved by my insurance.  These new drugs
are very costly in the range of $10,000 per month.  While that approval was a wonderful
thing, the most significant miracle of all was that the copay was also paid for by a grant
and the medication is shipped directly to me at no cost.  God provides for each of us in
so many ways.  We simply have to look for His hand as He leads us and provides each
and every day.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Moses recorded, “Then Abraham looked up and glanced around,
and behold, behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and
took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering and an ascending sacrifice instead of his
son!  So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide. And it is said to this
day, On the mount of the Lord it will be provided.  Genesis 22:13-14  (AMPC)

Today, watch for God’s provision and give thanks to Him.
