Preconceived

When we pray, we often have preconceived ideas as to what the

answer to our prayer will look like?  If God doesn’t answer the way

we thought He should, then we think He didn’t answer our prayer?

It has been my experience that God always answers prayers.  It is

just that He sees the end and knows what we need to achieve that

end.  First, we must pray believing He will hear and answer our

prayers.  Then we must trust that His answer is in our best interest

and be at peace.  Paul wrote, “And we know that all things work

together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called

according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (KJV)

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Be careful for nothing; but

in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
