Precious

Precious is defined as “(an object, substance, or resource) of great value; not to
be wasted or treated carelessly.”  What is precious to you?  Life is precious; but
eternal life is the most precious of all.  Sometimes we Christians take the gift of
eternal life for granted; and the cost of that gift.  While, we can be assured of our
eternal life, let us hold it as the precious gift of our loving God.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift
of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 6:23 (NIV)

Today, thank God for our precious gift of eternal life.
