Pray (Part 4)

When you pray, do you give God thanks?  Not only are we to give thanks in every situation (not necessarily for the situation; but, while you are in the situation), we are to come into His presence with thanksgiving in our hearts.  The way to get into God’s presence is with a thankful heart.  When we are His child, then we can relax and let God do His perfect work.  He uses all situations for our good and His Glory.  “There is no joy while we are being punished. It is hard to take, but later we can see that good came from it. And it gives us the peace of being right with God.” (Hebrews 12:11 NLV)  So come into God’s presence with thanksgiving when you pray.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist records, “Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.” Psalm 95:2

Today, persevere in prayer and believe!  Let Gods spirit pray through you and come into His presence with thanksgiving.
