Planted
Planted
Have you ever planted trees? First you dig the hole, put the tree into the hole, and then put dirt around the tree to stabilize the planted tree. After the initial watering, it is imperative to continue to water the tree. As Christians, it is imperative that we continue to fill up with the living water of God’s word. Unless we feed and water our spirits, they wither, become dry, and susceptible to the ungodly ways of the world. However, when we water and feed our spirits, we bear fruit for the kingdom.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalm 1:1-3 (NKJV)
Today, if you have been planted in the kingdom of God, water your life in the word of God.
