Peacemaker

When difficult times arise and turmoil is running rampant, what do you
do?  Do you feed the flames or do you make an effort to bring about a
peaceful resolution?  I must confess there have been times when I have
fed the flames of turmoil.  However, at this stage in my life, God is dealing
with me in many areas, one of which is to be a peacemaker.  Because of
this, I find myself in many situations challenging me in the area of peace-
making.  The benefit of making peace is to be called a child of God.  It is
so worth it.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded Jesus when He said, “Blessed
are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Matthew 5:9  (NIV)

Today, let God help you to learn to be a peacemaker.
