Peace With God
When we think of reconciliation, we think of someone making a move to bring peace within a relationship. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peace makers, for they shall be called the children of God.” (Matthew 5:9) So it is important for us to make peace with others. How significant it was that our God made a way for us to have peace with Him and to be reconciled to Him.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John records, “For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.” John 3:17 (AMPC)
Today, thank God for making peace and reconciling us to Himself.
