Obedience

When I was a child, sometimes I didn’t always do what I was told to do the first time I was told.  Eventually, though my parents said, I’m not going to tell you again.  At that point, I hurriedly did what I was told to do.  So telling me twice to do something yielded action.  In God’s word, He tell us to “Rejoice . . . and again I say rejoice.”  I do believe God wants us to rejoice.  Scientist have now proven that laughter and joy give us all a healthier body.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”  Philippians 4:4 (KJV)
