New

Everyone enjoys getting something new – clothes, cars, homes, babies, and even a New Year.  We have a brand spanking New Year ahead of us.  And with that New Year, we have unlimited opportunities.  While we look forward to the New Year, we must ask ourselves, what about our continuing relationship with the Lord.  Is it new and fresh or old and stale?  We have an opportunity today to begin anew and afresh with the Lord.  No matter what you have or have not done, God is always ready for you to begin again. He is the God of new beginnings.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”  2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
