Morning Thoughts – Victory

Victory

We root for our baseball, football, basketball and other teams
to have victory on the fields. What about victory in life and death?
A strange question? Not really, since the two things that are
certain in life are death and taxes. Not everyone will experience
victory in death. So how do you experience victory in death?
Paul addressed this issue in his letter to the Corinthians.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “O death, where is your
victory? O death, where is your sting? Now sin is the sting of death,
and sin exercises its power [upon the soul] through [the abuse of]
the Law. But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making
us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 AMP

Today, realize the victory you have in our Lord Jesus Christ.
