Morning Thoughts – The Boat

The Boat

Have you ever been in a boat when the water began to be a little
rough – perhaps splash into the boat? It can be a disturbing situation.
Jesus said – get in the boat and let’s go to the other side – then he fell
asleep. The storm was raging – the men were frightened. Jesus was

awakened and calmed the storm.

Luke records, “The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master,
we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging
waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. Luke 8:24 (NIV)

Today, let Jesus calm the storm around you.
