Morning Thoughts – Safety
Safety
We all want safety – on the highway, for our children, and in
every aspect of our lives. When you are disobedient to God,
he still provides safety for you? It may not be the most
comfortable of situations; but none-the-less, He still provides
for your safety. Look at Jonah – in disobedience he found
himself thrown overboard into the sea and swallowed by a
great fish. Surrounded by undigested seaweed and odors
obnoxious enough to make you ill; yet Jonah was safe. Are
you experiencing safety in a less than pleasant surrounding?
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Jonah records, “So they took up Jonah,
and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice
unto the Lord, and made vows. Now the Lord had prepared a great
fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three
days and three nights.” Jonah 1:15-17 (KJV)
Today, turn to God in repentance and seek Him.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
