Morning Thoughts – Remain

Remain

To remain is to continue to possess a particular quality or fulfill a
particular role. John was prisoner on the Isle of Patmos, Paul was
a prisoner in Rome, and Stephen was stoned to death; yet, they
remained in the faith. Countless have been put to death for their
faith. If your life were required of you, would you remain in the
faith. Currently, we are not faced with that decision; however, we
are faced with the decision to remain in the faith each and every
day with each decision we make.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “As for you, let that remain
in you [keeping in your hearts that message of salvation] which you
heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning
remains in you, you too will remain in the Son and in the Father
[forever].” 1John 2:24 (AMP)

Today, stand up for your faith and remain faithful to Jesus.
