Morning Thoughts – Raging Storm

Raging Storm

The news yesterday showed pictures of how bad the storm,
Katrina, had devastated the coast ten years ago.  When the
storm of life is raging around you, what do you do?  The
disciples were in the boat with Jesus when the storm hit.
Just because you are a Christian, don’t think you will not
have storms – you will.  But when the storm is raging and
you have given your life to Jesus, trust Him to calm the
storm about you.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke wrote, “And the disciples
came and woke Him, saying, Master, Master, we are
perishing! And He, being thoroughly awakened, censured
and blamed and rebuked the wind and the raging waves;
and they ceased, and there came a calm.”  Luke 8:24  (AMP)

Today, Get in the boat with Jesus and let Him calm your storm.
