Pasture

As I look out across the field, peace floods my soul and I think
about Psalm 23, in which the Shepherd provides for the sheep
and makes them lie down in green pastures. Green pastures
equate with provision. Jesus said he is the door of the sheep
and in Him we will find pasture. He provides for us and gives
us what we need.

John records Jesus when he said, “Then said Jesus unto them
again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and
shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but
for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might
have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
John 10:7, 9-10 (KJV)

Today, find provision in Jesus’s pasture.
