Overcoming – Rewards
How do you like your coffee – hot or cold? I would be willing to
bet none of you like it luke-warm. Neither does Jesus want luke-
warm Christians. The church at Laodicea was luke-warm. They
made Him sick and yet; He said He was standing at the door and
knocking – wanting to come in.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus, when He said,
“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These
things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning
of the creation of God; Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if
any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh
will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame
and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
Revelation 3:14, 20, 21 (KJV)
Today, repent and let Jesus come in and set your heart on fire.
The days grow short and we must be about our Father’s business.
