Noise
Noise
Little children love to make noise. Suffice it to say some noise is pleasing
and some is unpleasant. How we differentiate is usually based on whether
or not the noise is joyful or happy. For instance, when a child is crying in
pain, an immediate response from a parent is required; however, laughter
and happy sounds bring joy to our hearts. The Psalmist encourages us to
make joyful noise to our God.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Make a joyful noise unto
the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence
with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and
not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into
his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him,
and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth
endureth to all generations.” Psalm 100 (KNV)
Today, make a joyful noise and be glad because His mercy and truth endures
forever.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
