Mission

Mission

Mission is defined as “an important assignment carried out for political,
religious, or commercial purposes, typically involving travel.” Have you
ever thought about Jesus’s mission? He left the splendor of Heaven to
complete His mission – to save us from our sins and an eternity without
Him. Have you ever thought about your mission?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded, “But while he thought
about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a
dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you
Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. A
nd she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He
will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21 (NKJV)

Today, ask God about your mission.
