Love’s Qualities

Have you ever thought about the different qualities of love? When you
first fell in love with your husband or wife; how did you treat them? Most
likely you were kind and thoughtful and wanted to impress them. Over the
years; however, with day to day life, you may or may not react in the same
manner. Paul gave us some of the qualities of love for which we are to strive
to live out. No matter what your circumstances, these qualities will promote
happiness in the home.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Love endures with patience and serenity,
love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and
is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor
overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.”
