Morning Thoughts – Kept

Kept

What have you kept that will not fade away? I realize many things
we have are perishable and will not last. The one lasting thing is
our relationship with Jesus Christ. We are kept by the power of God
through our faith. Praise God for His power to keep us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Peter wrote, “Blessed be the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy
hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus
Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled,
and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by
the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in
the last time.” 1 Peter 1:3-5 (KJV)

Today, give thanks to God for He has kept us and will keep us through
His power.
