Morning Thoughts – Hope
Hope
Just as God has hopes and plans for your life, we have hopes for
those we love. At times those hopes seem distant and we weep
for those we have lost. Have you been weeping for lost children?
Whether they have been lost in death or to the world, we can have
hope. For those who have gone before us, we have the hope of a
glorious reunion. For those, who have been lost to the world, we
have hope for their salvation and return to God and fellowship with
us. Although Jeremiah was speaking to Israel, his words encourage
us to know there is hope for us as well.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Jeremiah wrote, “Thus saith the Lord;
Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy
work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again
from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith
the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border.”
Jeremiah 31:16,17 (KJV)
Today, rest in the hope that your child awaits you in heaven and the
lost child will return to you.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
