Morning Thoughts – Endurance
Endurance
Webster defines endurance as “the ability to withstand hardship or
adversity; especially : the ability to sustain a prolonged stressful
effort or activity <a marathon runner’s endurance.” How do you
handle hardship or adversity? Do you consider it punishment and
believe you don’t deserve better – wrong. If you are a child of God,
James provides us with a different approach to hardship. James tells
us about enduring for the benefit of those very hardships.
Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped
in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be
assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring
out endurance and steadfastness and patience. James 1:2-3 AMP
Today, if you are experiencing hardships or trials of any sort, be
encouraged and know God is working something special in you.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
