Morning Thoughts – Decisive Dedication

Decisive Dedication

To be dedicated is “to be devoted to a task or purpose; having single-minded
loyalty or integrity.” When you dedicate yourself to something, it is a decision
you make. To what/who are you dedicated? Are you dedicated to your family?
Does it require sacrifice on your part? Most likely it does. Did you know God
wants you to be decisively dedicated to Him?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and
beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of
your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy
(devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational,
intelligent) service and spiritual worship.” Romans 12:1 (AMP)

Today, decide to dedicate your body to the Lord – He gave Himself for you. Can you
do any less?
