Morning Thoughts – Consider Your Ways
Consider Your Ways
Each day, we make choices about the path we will follow. Unfortunately,
our nation as a whole has chosen to follow after self indulgent pleasures
rather than after the things of God. While we are one nation, our nation
is made up of individuals just like you and me. We can change the course
of our nation and right the ship of our fate only by turning to God in
repentance. In the book of Haggai, the prophet reminded the people of
their failure to follow God’s leadership. Twice he says to “Consider your
ways.”
Inspired by the Holy Spirit and recorded in the book of Haggai, we read:
“Now therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways and set
your mind on what has come to you. You have sown much, but you have
reaped little; you eat, but you do not have enough; you drink, but you do
not have your fill; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who
earns wages has earned them to put them in a bag with holes in it. Thus
says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways (your previous and present
conduct) and how you have fared. Haggai 1:5-7 (AMP)
Today, consider your ways and get before God in repentance and He will
heal our land.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
