Morning Thoughts – Confession
Confession
They say confession is good for the soul. However, confession can be
difficult due to fear of ridicule, rejection and remorse. How can something
good for you be so difficult. It’s because the enemy of your soul keeps you
focused on the difficulty and not on the benefits. When you apply for a job,
they tell you about the benefits and not about the difficulties you will face.
Trust me, confession is good for you. James wrote about the benefits of
confession.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, James wrote, “Confess to one another therefore
your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray
[also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual
tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a
righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”
James 5:16 AMP
Today, experience the healing and restoration of confession. It’s powerful.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
