Morning Thoughts – Belonging

Belonging

We all want to belong. To what we belong is so important.
Does our belonging bring life, hope, joy, and peace? Paul said,
when we give our lives to Jesus, we are no longer outsiders;
but have become citizens and belong to God’s own household.
As a citizen of heaven, we have all the rights and privileges of
sons and daughters of God.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Therefore you are no
longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from
the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the
saints (God’s own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself);
and you belong to God’s [own] household.” Ephesians 2:10 (AMP)

Today, may the Lord provide opportunities for you to know what
belonging to Him really means.
