Be Reconciled

Reconciliation – “the act of causing two people or groups to
become friendly again after an argument or disagreement.”
At one point we were separated from God and were required
to follow rules to be reconciled. Now, Jesus only requires a
relationship and He has done the work to ensure reconciliation.
All we have to do is receive the love He offers.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For God was in Christ,
restoring the world to himself, no longer counting men’s sins
against them but blotting them out. This is the wonderful
message he has given us to tell others. We are Christ’s
ambassadors. God is using us to speak to you: we beg you,
as though Christ himself were here pleading with you,
receive the love he offers you—be reconciled to God.”
2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (TLB)

Today, be reconciled to God by receiving the love Jesus offers.
