Morning Thoughts – Be Careful

Be Careful

Does a deceived person know they are deceived? The obvious answer
would be no because if they did they would not be deceived. Yet many
today are deceived by the cares of this world. The cares of this world
distract from the purpose for which we have been called into this life.
As the conditions of the world point to the return of our Lord, Jesus had
some words of warning for us about being careful.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew’s gospel records, “While He was
seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately and
said, Tell us, when will this take place, and what will be the sign of Your
coming and of the end (the completion, the consummation) of the age?
Jesus answered them, Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you
and leading you into error].” Matthew 24:3-4 (AMP)

Today, be careful and don’t be deceived by the cares of this world.
