A Guide

When traveling in foreign lands, it helps to have a guide – one
who knows places of interest, places to avoid and can help to
navigate through the unforeseen difficulties. As Christians, we
are foreigners in this land and need all the help we can get to
navigate this life. Because we have a loving God, he provided
such a guide, in the person of the Holy Spirit.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote in his letter to the Galatians,
“I advise you to obey only the Holy Spirit’s instructions. He will tell
you where to go and what to do, and then you won’t always be
doing the wrong things your evil nature wants you to.”
Galatians 5:16 (TLB)

Today, let your guide help you to get through this life.
