Maiden Voyage of Our Bus

We got a new bus a while back to use for youth events and to transport multiple people to places.  Yesterday, we took the bus out for its maiden voyage and took the youth to go bowling.  The bus had 13 people in it, 10 of which were youth!

For a while we were the only people at the bowling alley.  With it being the Texans NFL season opener, I can only imagine that most people were at home watching the game.  The game was on most TV’s in the alley, but with the losing score it was good to have bowling to distract us.

We played two games and had tons of fun.  It was good to get out as a group and spend time together.  Some students began naming their bowling techniques by saying “I call this one the ____” and then throwing the ball in a ‘unique’ manner.  I’m not sure any of us would make any bowling leagues or teams, but we can just be our own team!
